On November 21st Sadhana Forest Haiti hosted a ¨Konpos Spektak,¨ two hours of compost training lead by Yonice and Nixon, Sadhana Forest Haiti’s long-term Haitian volunteers. Topics included humanure composting, food composting, and how to prepare compost tea. All participants were sent home with beautiful young papaya trees to plant in their kitchen gardens. This training includes follow-up support with on-site visits to check how everyone´s compost making is going, and of course, further fruit tree distributions from our nurseries.
