“May there be many more forests to grow people

Our Vision

A world full of forests where everyone is well-fed

Our Mission

Regenerating indigenous forests and creating long-term plant-based food security with marginalized communities through food forestry

Our Principles

‘Engineering’ compassion and putting it into action in the most practical and concrete ways possible
Long-term oriented, community-driven, value-based and run by a large network of volunteers worldwide

The Sadhana Forest Tea Hut
Water Conservation

We restore natural water cycles in barren lands, increase soil moisture and recharge groundwater. By capturing rainwater and preventing soil erosion, we enable rapid natural regeneration and enable the trees we plant to reach their full growth potential.

Reforestation

We restore ecosystems and bring biodiversity back to degraded lands by planting native species. We use effective low-cost planting techniques developed through our 20+ years of experience and adapted to the local dry conditions.

Food Security

Together with malnourished communities we create long-term food security by planting indigenous, drought-resistant food forests. Our teams live on-site in off-grid eco-campuses, grow seedlings, provide training, plant trees and provide aftercare.

Our Global Impact

From the driest deforested lands of Namibia to the wettest hills of Northeast India, our community-based approach across continents, demonstrates that sustainable reforestation is possible everywhere.
