Next Friday, Oktober 26th, our Eco Film will be another part of the BBC series Planet Earth: Fresh Water.
Documentary, 2006 – 52 minutes. Narrated by David Attenborough. BBC. UK, English.
Planet Earth, described by its makers as a definitive look at the diversity of our planet, is one of the first nature documentary series to be filmed in high definition. Shot by 71 camera crews in 62 countries over 5 years, Planet Earth redefined natural history filmmaking and amazed viewers with never-before-seen animal behaviors and startling views of locations captured by cameras for the first time.
Only 3% of the world’s water is fresh and it is our most precious resource since all life on land is ultimately dependent on it. Rivers and lakes have shaped the earth, carving out the world’s most impressive gorges, valleys and waterfalls. Unique behavior takes place in the presence of this life force, such as duelling otters and crocodiles and diving macaques.
