This mesmerizing documentary is founded on an intriguing concept, consisting of 12 20-minute fragments where we witness life in twelve very different locations on our planet. In these locations, we have a rare view into the lives of indigenous people as they exist through hunting, fishing, preparing their meals, and dealing with the natural world. The twelve places featured in the movie are Namibia, the Sahara, a Native North American Village in the Canadian Pacific, Northern India, Southern China, a fishing village in Sardinia, Lappland, Greenland, Central Siberia, an aboriginal settlement in the Australian Outback, Papua New Guinea and Micronesia. This week we will show parts 7 – 9.
