Life: Insects

The Ecofilm on Friday, Earthday, April 22nd will be Episode No. 6 of BBC’s series Life: Insects.

Genre: Documentary, Produced by: BBC, 2009, 59 Minutes, English

There are more species of insects that exist on earth than any other species group. They represent more than half of all known organisms. This is due to their ability to adapt to a wide variety of conditions, such as extreme heat or cold. Insects move by walking, flying and sometimes swimming. Many insects move in large swarms for the purpose of migrating, despite the solitary nature of most breeds. Come join us this Friday and enjoy the beauty of these creatures without having them crawling all over you.
