Getting Here
Sadhana Forest is located in the state of Tamil Nadu in Southeast India. We are about 150 kilometers (a little less then 100 miles) south of Chennai (formerly Madras) and just north of Puducherry (formerly Pondicherry).
The cheapest way to reach us is by taking a bus that travels from Pondicherry to Tindivanam or Sedarapet, and get off at the village of Morattandi (about 4km’s drive from Pondicherry). Please phone us from the bus stop in Morattandi, so we can arrange to pick you up. You can also take an autorickshaw straight from Pondicherry to Sadhana Forest (maximum price 120 Rupees, at time of writing).

The nearest international airport is Chennai. If this is your first time in India and you are arriving directly from Chennai airport, it may be easier for you to take a taxi directly to Sadhana Forest. You can arrange this online at:

(Cost approx 1600 Rupees, at time of writing), or you could organize it at the airport where the cost will be approx 2200 Rupees. A disadvantage of finding your own taxi at the airport is that the driver is unlikely to know the way here. In this case phone us on the way and we will direct you.
There are also buses (ECR Express) from the Chennai bus stand, better known as Koyambedu CMBT, to Pondicherry bus stand (cost 55 Rupees).
Please plan your schedule so that you reach Sadhana Forest Monday to Friday before 12 noon!!!
