Sadhana Forest is not connected to the electricity grid. As a part of our sustainable living, we use only solar and human powered energy.

We currently have an 1800 watt solar (photovoltaic) power system, connected to 8 batteries. On cloudy days we supplement our energy needs with a set of four “exercise” bicycles, which charge the batteries.
